BASKETBALL CAMP WITH WNBA CHAMPION EWELINA KOBRYN

On 18 August in Tarnobrzeg, a basketball camp for children and young people will be held with the basketball champion Ewelina Kobryn, the first Polish player to reach the championship of the American league WNBA. The event is aimed at school children and young people, who will be able to take part in free basketball training under the supervision of the champion.

She is one of four Polish women who have played in the WNBA league. In 2014, together with the Phoenix Mercury team, she won the championship of the best women’s basketball league in the world. Ewelina Kobryn will spend the upcoming season in Wisła Can-Pack, while today she visited Tarnobrzeg to pass on her love and passion for basketball to the youngest players.

Ewelina Kobryn, one of the best Polish basketball players of recent years, together with her former player, Paweł Storożyński, are organising a camp for professional basketball players and basketball players in Kraków to help them prepare comprehensively for the season. However, Kobryn & Storożyński Camp is also an opportunity for those who are just taking their first steps on the court.

Ewelina Kobryn’s E11 Foundation selects talented Polish teenagers for whom it funds a training camp in France!

Last weekend saw the conclusion of the fourth edition of the Ewelina Kobryn Foundation’s E11 basketball camp in Kraków. This time, as many as five participants of the camp were awarded the title of best player MVP and received a trip to Paris, France, for a training camp with Mathieu Delarche, a French coach working with 8 NBA clubs.

Basketball player Ewelina Kobryn and her partner Paweł Storożyński talked about the motivation to be physically active during lockdown, the importance of sport in our lives, and the fact that willingness is more important than talent.
